Good site for long distance scouting

I have been working at building my own GPS maps showing land ownership (trying to make something similar to the huntinggpsmaps) for fun...will probably still buy the download and use as a comparison if I complete it. Anyway..in the process of looking for data, I came across this site. It has land ownership data (which I have not verified against anything else yet) as well as foot trails, forest roads, etc.
I have looked at one set of foot trails for the White River National forest, and it matches what I find in my Nat Geo maps.
Many of the files are available for Google Earth, so it should be a useful tool for scouting from home.

If you work with/are familiar with GIS there is almost unlimited information like this spread throughout the net. The sd cards just make it a little better/painless for those without the right computer programs.
