I don't think 180", i'm guessing, not that good at it but a 140" maybe, I got one on the wall like that just not in velvet, and its 130" with alittle weaker fronts, my wife has a 170" on the wall and it has better mass, main beams, fronts, backs, so I think he just looks big too you since he's in velvet, but I may be way off, but that buck does look way smaller than my wifes and about the same as my 130" deer, great buck thou....
Matt
Looks like lots of mass, about 29 to 30 wide (Looks like about 2 to 3 inches outside the ears.) Front ofrks are a bit shallow but all in all, I'd shoot him.. If he doesn't score in the 180's he won't be far from it.
He has the cage, just not enough tine length. I bet he goes 164-168 gross. I'd shoot him with a bow and I bet I could be talked in to squeezing the rifle trigger too.
If you have had a good hunt on him and he is a good deer for your area then thats all that matters..good frame, nice length to the main beams, but he lacks a bit with forks, tine length and that small eye guard might see him go into the 160's. As always the velvet makes all deer look that little bit better then what they probably are.
I would also guess he would be a mid 160 deer, but can't help looking at his body and thinking that he would yield considerably more deer steaks than his two partners!
