Should be a circus. I headed home tonight from hunting, and the crews are out in full force. Almost closed the deal tonight on a 150+" 10 pointer. Had him at 20-25 yards at one point, but I never got a clear shot at him before he went chasing after a doe. On the positive side, it makes me feel less crazy about what I thought I saw earlier in the week. The one earlier in the week was definitely a good bit bigger than this one. I head out for 4th Rifle Colorado Elk tomorrow..hopefully my uncle gets one of the big boys while we're gone and the other one evades the circus of hunters out there!
