I tag out and have 4 different gobblers go by a cam on one of my farms just testing me.

One has huge spurs, one looks like a double beard, and the others id always shoot.

New property, first season hunting birds, finally a day of sunshine! All the new guns stayed home, the 1928 Lefever with #5 lead did just fine (at 22 yards). Getting them close is fun!

A perfect morning in the pines. This Tom read the script, he came in gobbling and strutted around my hen decoy for about 5 minutes. Their sunrise dance came to an abrupt halt though when he jumped up on the decoy and I was afraid he’d break the stake.
