Not gonna get any easier, but you’ll get smarter. We’ve got three under six and can’t wait to get outta daycare. We’re frugal and prioritize savings/retirement heavily.Having never driven before the global war on terror, I've never considered gas to be reasonably priced. It's always sucked. But this is the most painful I've ever seen. And as a new dad I can confirm the cost of everything indeed makes it tough, but we still have room to tighten up if we needed to. Seeing folks talk about the price of daycare is scaring me though, because that's coming soon. Thankfully my wife and I are not spenders. I almost never buy gear, guns or anything I don't truly need to do what I want. It's often uncomfortable and inconvenient but that money goes toward gas and securing a tag. Anytime I see folks in expensive hunting clothes I can't help but see a price tag. While I'm wet and cold in 20 year old cotton blends.![]()
