Any advice for someone looking to get into some elk bugling up Gallatin Canyon?

Squaw creek? Swan Creek? Moose creek?

All can have some possibility, just depends upon the day. Better plan on lots of company and pressured elk. Carry bear spray.

I think they are putting traffic lights up there this year so that should help some

Yes, many hunters bugling. Elk bugling ... not so much.

You guys need to get more creative in finding hunting spots. I hardly ever see another hunter in the Gallatin. At least the two-legged kind...
