Just a heads up before the holiday. FS closed a huge chunk of Apache-Sitgraves NF yesterday,from Alpine clear across Mogollon Rim.
With the fire south of me blowing up quick in the Gila,folks heading to SW NM & AZ for the holiday should check with local FS offices about closures,before you get here.....

I saw it the other day. I'm hoping they have a good monsoon season this year and ease those restrictions since I was planning on going to help my brother with his Sept. cow elk tag again this year near Springerville/Eagar.
