So, I posed this question on a forum the other day but did not get a response. As you know there has been a lot of discussion on the shoulder seasons in Montana. I am sure each western state has it own issues as we have in my neck of the woods. Being from out of state I do not comment on your issues but I think it is important that we stand behind groups that promote conservation and our hunting rights. As an out of stater, when there are issues in western states that I cannot get involved in per se, I can donate to groups that will make sure our voices are heard. So my question to you, in addition to the RMEF, can you suggest some organizations where we out of staters can donate?

There are numerous nonprofit organizations working to conserve habitat for various species. Pick your species or suite of species and support those nonprofits. I also believe you can give money directly to the state wildlife department.
