. Gen X had movies like Singles, Reality Bites, Breakfast Club, Uncle Buck, etc to really capture our childhood.

When my parents came to visit me when I was in college there were a group of females protesting everything, but mostly men. I had watched this movie with my parents so I understood the point my mother was making when she told me " probably not a good idea to invite any of them to watch Breakfast Club with you"
