Freezout Lake Video.........

reminds me of the canadians at moses lake and the potholes in washington state way back in the late 70's
 
No spring season in the pacific flyway...IIRC, I think freezeout is in the Pacific flyway.

I went to a lecture on snow geese by a Canadian Biologist, and again this is from memory, but I'm sure he said the snow geese that migrate on the pacific flyway are not part of the snow goose over-population problem. Apparently the P. flyway snows arent wrecking their nesting habitat like the ones in the central flyway.
 
We have a spring season but we are on the edge of the migration route.The southeast winds pushed them over into South Dakota this year.My son still managed to bring a few home but not as many as last year.Still an outside chance to get a few more before the season closes.
