Glass Eye My wife and I were looking into hunting Axis in Hawaii can you legally hunt there as non resident without a guide? Do you need a resident to hunt with you like AK? Thanks for the info.

No guides required. You will need to check each island for regulations though. The Dole plantation, on Lanai, used to offer a trespass hunt that was awesome. Don't know now, they were going through some management changes the last time I went.
