Forky/Shitbuck of a Lifetime

My favorite buck. This 1.5 year old 8 point was my first deer. I killed him with a self-bow that I made myself, at 6 yards, and after a few years of fruitless hunting. I've told the story on here before. After I shot him and watched him go down, I had to chase off a bigger buck who was following him. They were both harrassing a doe. At this point, I wish I'd taken a picture back then.

2017 hunted hard for a month and got this funky 2x1 on the morning of the 2nd to last day of season , then the girlfriend got a dinky 2x2 in the last 20 min of daylight the following evening on the last day, no big bucks but good memories after some hard hunting, loved hunting blacktails but don’t miss how hard it can be to find one

girlfriend was pretty fired up to get a buck in the last minutes on the last day when your thinking it’s gonna be tag soup ,

it took us an hour and a half to find her deer when it went less than 100 feet from where she shot it. It died in a little depression , we couldn’t see it , then it got dark , had some friends come up and we did a search party and I had about given up when we finally found it tracking back to the original location. Never lost a deer but thought we’d lost that one

First off some of you need to get the heck out of here with your friggin good "shit" bucks. If it has more than 3 points and is more than 12", it's disqualified.

Second, FINALLY something I can complete in! This here, if you'll believe it, is a 3x1.

The right side looked like an oak leaf. Unfortunately the squirrels packed it off one winter while I was in college.
