Hi,
I have a Foretrex 701 and I am wondering if it is useful to have a rangefinder linked to it or if you just go by the range card with a RF.
When I am at the range I feel no need for the linked RF, because I have all the time in the world to confirm the distance and angles. But on a Hunt I assume it is much more
handy to have the exact distance for this one shot. Of course you know the hunting distances mostly and could create a custom range card in 25yard increments and it will be good,
but before I invest 1000+ $ in a RF that is not really useful, I want to hear your opinion.
