Jose & Carlos are panhandling on the streets of Phoenix.

Jose drives a new Mercedes, lives in a mortgage free mansion in Scottsdale, and has plenty of money to spend. Carlos only brings in 2 to 3 dollars a day.

One day Carlos asks Jose how he can bring home a suitcase full of $20 bills every day.

Jose says, "Look at your sign. It says: 'I have no work, a wife and 6 kids to support' ".

Carlos looks at Jose's sign. It reads: "I only need another $20.00 to move back to Mexico."

Idaho Governor C.L. "Butch" Otter signed S. 1172 into law Wednesday, making Idaho the 29th state to adopt English as its official language. Sponsored by Sen. Mel Richardson, the bill makes English the official language of the state government with common sense exceptions for areas such as health care and judicial proceedings. The measure previously passed the Idaho House of Representatives on March 19 and the Idaho Senate on March 7.
