Football General Talk

Vegas saw this post and now there is a bet on if you throw the remote through the tv before, during the half or after the half.
Naw, im pretty secure with the multiple Superbowls won by Patriots in a relatively short amount of time.
In fact, yawn, its ok if they lose. Maye is only going to get better, Vrabel and crew aren't going away.😂

@BrentD whats your honest take 1 year later on the Vikings letting Darnold go. Still the right move? Wrong move? Should have held onto him 1 more year? Still not enough time to tell?
Darnold was a former #1 pick. He just needed the opportunity on the right team to show why he is that good. I think we blew it when we traded him, but the powers that be think JJ is the guy. I'm not seeing that in his skill set or his durability. Keeping in mind that I have zero qualifications to judge quarterbacks, I think the Vikings blew it.

Maybe best to see what unfolds on Sunday.😉
If the Patriots beat the odds it will be because the Darnold rise crashes.
Really. A quarterback either has to win the super bowl or he's a bust? That is pretty irrational you know. Marino, Rivers, Tarkenton were all busts?

Win or lose, Darnold gave Seattle a hell of a ride this year. Just exactly like he did for Minnesota last year. I predict, with some confidence, that Seattle, however, will not trade him downriver this spring like Minnesota last year.

No, I agree with your comments.
Im hoping Darnold throws a couple of pick-six though, and Maye has a better game.
But if you really want irrational, dont ever mention the name Marino in a comment to me ever again.😆

Since you are a Patriots, fan, you are allowed to hope for such things, but otherwise you gotta be for Seattle. We will feel sorry for you when they get pasted. But only a very little bit. We will feel very happy for Kraft, however.

I don't understand the Marino comment. He was kind of good though, rather boring in my opinion.

To this day, either Brett Favre or Joe Montana are the greatest quarterbacks I ever watched. You are free to disagree with this.
