Football General Talk

Seems like there are a few NFC teams separating themselves from the rest, as happens this time of year. Although from the looks of it, they may be battling for the opportunity to get destroyed by the Rams. They look nasty.

I’m looking forward to the Bears vs Eagles. I think this is a fork-in-the-road game for Chicago, while Eagles can’t really afford a misstep either (and they haven’t looked great).

Here is a bold prediction: The winner of this game ends up winning their division while the loser ends up not even making the playoffs. Probably almost certainly true if Philly wins but the bold part being that if the Bears win I can still see it resulting in the Cowboys taking the East and the wild cards of the Packers, Seahawks and Niners/Lions being ahead of Philly.

I can’t argue with any of that. For whoever loses, I see them still getting to 10 wins. That’s going to be right on the Wildcard bubble.
