I’d almost bet one of Sytes’ gift cards that Deion is the coach of the boys next year.Hey Brent, you might want to reassess your opinion of Deion. The man is the best to ever play his position in the game. Ever. He has taken Colorado from the dregs to relevancy in 2 seasons. Looks to be shaping young men in to better people as he goes. If you were turned off by his flamboyance when he was a player, so be it. He could back it up. Oh yeah. Whatever teams get Sheduer or Travis will have hit the jackpot. mtmuley
I'm not sure about that. But if he wants to try the NFL, I bet he is successful. mtmuleyI’d almost bet one of Sytes’ gift cards that Deion is the coach of the boys next year.
It will be interesting to see if highly paid pros - particularly veterans put up with his show boating as a coach.I'm not sure about that. But if he wants to try the NFL, I bet he is successful. mtmuley
He’s a smart guy. He knows his audience. He would adjust accordingly. It will be interesting to see if highly paid pros - particularly veterans put up with his show boating as a coach.
Here ya go. Every Viking fan bears this cross. None of us are holding our breath waiting for it, but we do dream it will happen before we go under.

I do not expect to see the Vikings win the Super Bowl in my lifetime.
Apparently, simply can’t argue with his results…anywhere he’s been. He’s a smart guy. He knows his audience. He would adjust accordingly.
Deion will be able to see it from both sides; as a successful player and as a coach. He is a hall of fame, arguably the goat, cornerback. Players will buy into what he is preaching if they have dreams of achieving those dreams. If someone questions him, he just has to point the rafters at his jersey in Dallas stadium. It will be interesting to see if highly paid pros - particularly veterans put up with his show boating as a coach.
My earliest childhood memory is watching the Vikes lose to the Chiefs in SB IV with my Dad. I captured a lifetime of pain in my twitter byline before I dropped off the platform. Pretty much sums up the worst of it.If there was a Vikings fan seniority list, I would be towards the top of the list. Their first few years were pretty rough. I was a fan when Bill Brown was the full back. I really became a fan when Dave Osborn, a North Dakotan, became their half back. It has been unrequited affection ever since.
So many memories, we would listen to the Vikings game on the radio, while taking a break from duck hunting. My uncle always had a large coffee can of boiled eggs, for a snack. He did not like Tarkington very much. I can still hear him saying Tarkington to Butkus, in disgust.
I was telling a friend at the gym this week, that I do not expect to see the Vikings win the Super Bowl in my lifetime. If they would some how get it done there is a lot of pent up emotion waiting for release in the upper midwest.

All things being equal, mediocre players have a much better track record at coaching than the various GOATS.Deion will be able to see it from both sides; as a successful player and as a coach. Yup. I remember all of those guys and more. Gene Washington was a favorite of mine. My best friend at that age was the son of Ray Christianson who was the WCCO announcer for some of the games and got to go to 2 of them with him.If there was a Vikings fan seniority list, I would be towards the top of the list. That is correct and I definitely thought about that. Just because you are the goat doesn’t make you a good coach, or announcer. All things being equal, mediocre players have a much better track record at coaching than the various GOATS.
Being a Bills fan I feel your pain. So far we both still have a chance this year. Here ya go. Every Viking fan bears this cross. None of us are holding our breath waiting for it, but we do dream it will happen before we go under.
