They gave me a quick call to see if I would come out of armchair retirement to coach for them, but I had to turn them down. It is bird hunting season after all. But I did point the to this guy I know in Minnesota...

Had they pulled it off and beaten the Lions, I would still think they stink, but I would have loved them just a little bit more.

Deion is far from making my "favorite celebrities" list, but I do think he is smarter than that.

Hey Brent, you might want to reassess your opinion of Deion. The man is the best to ever play his position in the game. Ever. He has taken Colorado from the dregs to relevancy in 2 seasons. Looks to be shaping young men in to better people as he goes. If you were turned off by his flamboyance when he was a player, so be it. He could back it up. Oh yeah. In my book, if someone is an asshole, he is an asshole, no matter how good he is at something as important (sarcasm) as football (c.f., Arron Rodgers). If you feel differently, so be it.
