First pheasant/duck outing of season

After neglecting my pooch due to my focus on the big game seasons I decided it was time to start getting her out. What a first outing it was!! Got a limit of roosters and jumpshot a few mallards. I think you can see that "dog" tired look in her eyes. It was one of those days I don't want to forget so I dropped off a mallard and pheasant at the taxidermist to do a hanging dead pose. I think it will be kind of unique and I couldn't think of a better way to combine a rooster/mallard mount.

That's a good day, congrats! I have yet to spend much time this year chasing birds, I really need to change that...
