First Bird

Got my first bird ever saturday morning with muzzel loader. don't know how much he weighed, had a 10 1/2" beard.
To cook him we thought about putting an apple and orange inside, poultry seasoning out side and using a cooking bag,
Any body have any good recipes or ways to prepare the bird?
Gotta say it was an exciting hunt, think I'm hooked

Congrats Logger!! That is really something to take your first bird w/ a smoke pole. I am impressed. Any way you want to cook turkey it is good....
