Just finished up my Sauer 100. Sent it off to Kampfeld to be cut at 16.5" and an adapter installed. Also had him cerakote the action and barrel Elite Black. I painted the stock using the plastic adhesion promotor, primer, MTN 94 Icarus Grey, Krylon mabelizing paint and 3 coats of matte clear. Not bad for my first try. Topped it with a Trijicon Huron and finished it out with a Zero Gravity 7mm. My first suppressor and I just shot it. So much more fun!

Thanks everyone. It’s a joy to shoot with the suppressor, but I’m struggling to find a factory ammo it really likes. Wanted to shoot ttsx, but it’s around 1.5 MOA with a 10 shot group. Accubond and ELDX are 2 MOA! American whitetail is surprisingly the best at 1 MOA, but I really don’t want to use it for elk. Going to order some Etips to try. Running out of ideas for factory options that I would prefer to use. Wish I reloaded so I could try some hammer hunters. Any other ideas on what to try?

1.5” for 10 is plenty good unless you plan on shooting WAY out.
I agree it is likely good for 99% of the time. I've only shot a few critters past 300 yards, but most of those were antelope/deer. When you toss in some wind and shooter error a 4.5" - 6" group at 300 - 400 yards is a bit much for my liking. I may not have a choice if I want to use ttsx though.

I’d throw the tgk’s on your list to try, Barnes is loading them in their harvest line. Wilson Combat also has a few loads with their Lehigh bullets (similar design to the hammers listed above).

I’m surprised about the accubonds, I’ve always had good luck with them in pretty much everything.
