I've contacted pretty much everyone I know that I could go elk hunting with this weekend and not a single one can. Anybody got any bright ideas on what I should do and/or do instead? I hate missing out on screaming bulls

Just go hunting on your own! Makes you a much better hunter and you can always hang meat in the shade, de bone it and pack it out.

Yep, don't rely on someone to always be there. If you need someone, ie handicap issues, disabilities etc then it is understandable. But if you are a 100 ish percent capable person to go out and harvest an elk or deer, then don't let being solo stop you. One person going through the woods is half as quiet as 2...

Well you can go alone, which I say is unsafe and the reason I don't get to elk hunt or you can stay home. Those are your 2 choices :)

I would love to go.....Just about 2000 miles away.....

I love hunting alone. Grab a good book and head to the mountains.
