Federal Premium 200gr Terminal Ascents 300WM - Can anyone give me a review?

I fired a shot with the 300 wsm at fifty yrds into a mature hog deer stag, it picked him up and flung him back dead on the dirt. Hope to go Sambar hunting with a couple of hters, be good medicine on the largest deer in Australia.

They're what I use in my 300 WM. Killed 2 bulls with them so far. One heart shot at 90 yards, one high shoulder at 400 yards. Both one shot kills. Mine run just over 2900 fps out of my rifle, which is nearly 100 fps over box values.

Used them on a cow hunt in January. Destroyed the shoulder and the heart was jelly from 320 yards. I chrono'd them at 2850 fps prior to the hunt. Definitely happy with the bullet performance.

Both bulls were inside 100 yds. Both expired with one shot.

Finally tried out the 155 Terminal Ascents with my 7mm, Christensen Mesa. Seem to group pretty well, and will give them a shot this fall hunting.

I've used these in my Seekins PH2 7mm and they held good groups, similar to your results. I would like to the find those bullets they use in the terminal ascent line, the bc was one of the highest I've seen for a 7 mag. I've had great results with 150 gr ELDX and just recently tried some 160 gr Nosler partition with IMR 4350 and I was shooting a .5-.75 moa group the other day.
