Has anyone had particularly good experience (or bad) with any of the game processors in the Casper region? I guess I'm assuming there's more than one... Thanks!

I used Bighorn Meats in Buffalo last year to do our antelope. I thought they were great! Maybe a little pricey, but 24hr turn around at no extra cost. They have a "trade" program where you can trade some of your meat for some of their pre-made jerky or sausage. Been eating on it all year and everything has been good. I would use them again.

Another thumbs up for pats. We brought antelope and deer and they did a great job, plus their jerky and snack sticks are great

I used Kompac meat processing in 2015 for my antelope. They were very helpful adjusting processing/storage times to my schedule as an out of state hunter. The meat was vacuum packed, roasts were tied with twine, and the summer sausage was excellent. I usually process my own meats and was genuinely impressed with the quality of what I got back. I was concerned about quality due to the high temps during antelope season, but they promised each customer's animal is processed individually and not done in large batches. They were a little pricey, but I plan on using them again if I am in the area and need a processor.

We used Dan's meat processing in the Casper area. We (a large group of us) always received good service and a quality product. Good luck wherever you go.

I used Bighorn Meats in Buffalo for a goat a few years back. I was happy with the butchering and cape job.
