great state of Idaho....
That time of year, after a miserable year last year and hunting with an exploded disc in my back. I am gung ho this year, even though I’m not quite in good shape or given full permission to hunt hard, I made the decision for my mental health and went out and fought the crowds of Labor Day weekend. All in all a successful trip, I was mainly after a new deer hunting spot but found a pretty decent Mountain Goat stalking area for a bow, I have a new unit to apply for 😎. Tried out a new sleeping bag (made by Everon Outdoor) a quick backstory on this, I met him at the Boise Idaho sportsman show a few years ago. I had discussed with him that I raise and own pack goats. He ended up giving me a call this spring and was looking for an adult packer. I just happened to have one to spare and traded him my goat Montana for two of his down 0° bags.
I had a great time, I always enjoy new adventures and new places. Covered right around 20 miles in 3 1/2 days. Now the good stuff pictures!

Now that the wife is raising Boers maybe I can talk her into a couple permanent alpine wethers. Use to have some but just didn’t have the time to work with them. I do now
