Every parcel you look up shows a tax history of $0.00 owed

Don't know the laws in Utah, but it would be good to know if they are just following the law on property that they assumed control of due to unpaid taxes. There are a lot of properties listed on that sale. The generic description is Commercial.

I'm no lawyer but this is a facility that used water from the Great Salt Lake to make salt products (water softner salt). You can see it just of I-80. Really big eye sore and it produced a lovely aroma. Most of the property is part of the dry lake bed. It would be nice to see it go to the BLM, which it borders. I have a hard time seeing anything being able to be built on this property. Maybe a race track call it mini Bonneville Salt flats. On really wet years it does flood.

I follow these land sales all the time for kicks. I have never seen multiple parcels on one listing. I have not seen a state owned property in a tax auction. The other listings in Tooele County follow the expected pattern. One owner, one parcel.

These are usually simple debt cases or estates. This one is just a weird listing all around.

Not saying its not legal, just different.

You are right, every state is different. California sells lands for 501c3 orgs. Colorado sells vehicles for 501's
