Didn't fill a deer tag this year, went alot the last week and lots of little bucks but had no interest in just filling tags for the sake of filling tags.

So on Saturday a bunch of Glasgow guys hooked up with some goose killers from Bozeman and put a 10 man limit of 40 birds on the ground in short order. Birds came too fast to take any action pics.

It was so much fun we decided to have a rematch with the geese again today. Could only round up 7 guys this morning.

Have had 4 of the best days hunting geese I have ever experienced. All the birds finished feet down backwing over the decoys.

Great hunts.

I'm constantly amazed at your posts saying you couldn't find guys to hunt. What's their problem?? :) Wish I was closer. I'd be taking advantage of that invite in a heart beat!

Many more this season.

Hard time finding people to hunt!!?? I would jump on that in an instant!!

You done plucking all those yet??

Congrats on a fun weekend!

Today was the first day of mallard buzzing I have seen in our valley. Strange, given the last few days being so warm. Saw many flocks of 100+ this morning moving in on some unsuspecting wheat fields west of town. If I can convince Mrs. Fin to let me go, I might have to spend a few days working on these flocks.

Not honkers like you guys are toasting, but I love those northern flight orange legs.

Guess the shoulder is feeling better. Nice job, Nemont.

Got a cortisone shot in it and I have been taken less frequent shots. Still managed to take my birds but alot more selective on which shots I take.

Should be good as new in another day or two.
