This was a thread from last year. We were just across the border in Colorado this season.

How was your hunt? My buddy is chasing moose in 161 right now. He ran into a black wolf on twisty park road.

Unfortunately unsuccessful. Saw a couple bulls getting hauled out, but not many given the number of hunters we saw. Word from a few locals was that they thought the muzzleloader season was extra heavy, kinda blew the elk out. Probably due to non-resident changes coming to CO.
