I always carry 2 outdoor edge knives with a pack of blades. I can usually do a whole elk with 2 blades. Love the setup.

I carry an Outdoor Edge replaceable as well, but THIS is my go to and favorite. Mora Kniv 6in with a rubberized handle. Ridiculously sharp and easy to touch up (not needed for a least 2-3 animals) ......add to that the cost is UNDER $20 and it is crazy. Love this knife.

Agree! Once I get the skin cut, filet knife is all I need! Great tool for de-bone before the pack out.

I carry a benchmade s90 saddlemountain skinner. Use to carry 2 knifes including a gerber vital but learned to dislike that setup. With the better blade i dont need to sharpen during hunts, solid nice sized blade and great sheath work perfect for me.

In the 35 plus years I have had this knife, it has taken apart more animals than I can even remember. Got it free for signing up for a magazine or something. Also carry a Gerber Vital nowadays. mtmuley

I have always carried this and it’s been my primary but never touched it this year after putting the victorinox and custom leg scared into the mix.

I still think I’m going to have him make me something even though I don’t see anything replacing the victorinox. Might have him make a custom handle for the blade though. I use the one I bought from him daily, just not hunting. I like the flexi blade

I splurged and got a half face blade before this last season. Completely unnecessary but I regret nothing.
