Moosie, I don't necessarily "look down" on a guy who kills a tame elk, unless like you said if he lies about it and tells people he got it on a legitimate hunt. And I sure wouldn't consider any tame elk a trophy. Truthfully I can't believe anyone would. I really feel sorry for a guy who has to resort to killing tame elk. He is missing out on the great experience of a real elk hunt. Now I DO look down on the people who raise these domestic elk and think it's ok to make money by selling so called "hunts." It's kind of like how you might feel sorry for weak people who get themselves addicted to drugs. Now they aren't necessarily "bad" people...the bad people are the ones dealing the drugs and making money off these drug addicts who are ruining their lives.
