Elk Fishing..

I'm told that this bull was found dead in Roosevelt Lake.

Those boats are rigged for salmon....I've only found Crappie trolling at Roosevelt.

That's a great looking bull but I would have to lean towards Washington over Arizona.

DID anyone see the Elk that was shot and fell off the Cliff and Was Stuck on the Side of the Hill ? I have the Pictures in an Email somewere if no one has posted them yet.... Crazy !!

That does not look like roosevelt lake to me.

That isnt Roosevelt.

For starters, thats obviously a river, a big River, probably ths Snake or Columbia.

Second, if those guys are on Roosevelt...they're using some pretty funky stuff for bass fishing...dont see a lot of downriggers, jet divers, and flashers for bass. The net is another clue...pretty big net for a 2 pound bass. Of course the 10 foot salmon and steelhead rods...thats what I see all the time on Roosevelt.

All that stuff does look about right for summer run steelhead or chinook...

Intuitively obvious...even to a casual observer.

The email I got says the incident took place on Fort Peck Reservoir in Montana which does have chinook salmon in it.
