You appear to be comparing them to the likes of the Kardashians. At least they are trying to pass along a level of family values and generally moral behavior, that can be found almost nowhere on television.
Settle down, it is a TV show, what do you want them to do? The show was made for the entire family, so kids and parents can all get something out of it. If you are so highbrow, change the channel, and go watch Alistair Cooke's Master Piece theater.

I haven't watched this weeks episode yet but I will. Just like I have watched most of the others. I am able to watch it and keep in mind what it really is, scripted "reality" and enjoy it. I appreciate that I can watch it with my kids without subjecting them to the language, sex, and violence that is so prevalent in most popular television shows these days.
Because of that, I feel somewhat insulted by some of the comments made about the show. These are ordinary guys with a extraordinary income doing what most of us would do if we had the millions of dollars that they have. So I feel like by enjoying the show I am getting labeled as an uneducated sucker. A stupid bafoon. A-intellectual junk.
Good thing I have thick skin. Haha

Not sure if you've ever seen any of them in a non-DD setting, but what you see on the show if far from what they are in reality.

If anyone believes any "reality" tv is real, they should have their head examined. I watch it for the entertainment value and nothing more. I don't believe Spiderman is real either....
