I was reading this thread without realizing it was 5 years old. It seems you came around to the point that has prevented me from going: unless you have an in with a transporter via someone that flew with then previously, its about impossible to book one ... at least one with any decent reputation.
This was the one Alaska trip I had wanted to do but I feel like I missed the window. I know it's still totally possible if you are willing to drop big $$$, but that doesn't excite me.
