Good news. That one might be a little cheaper to feed. A crossbreed greatly reduces the risk of genetic disorders cropping up. Keep that dog on a tight leash when visiting the Flathead. Last I heard those two husky hunters are still running loose up there.

I've had two Rotties. After having to the second one to rest I just couldn't get another as he was so exceptional and I did not want to compare. Currently have a Lab and Redbone. I think when the time comes I may just be ready to get a Rottie again.

And don't buy into that breeder bullshit that your dog's name has to start with a designated letter for its year of birth. Name it what you want. I have always given my dogs ladies' names. People names because I treat them like they are partners ... which they should be.

You can never change a dog's name. You can add to it but , it's original name will always stick.
