Who has the most ability to respond to such requests given
- sharp cutbacks in staff and capacity on the USFS side
- the apparent unresolved question of legality in providing such info (which I am not certain of)?
Ask why outfitters wouldnt want to avoid someone setting up close to them?
Maybe a legal challenge akin to corner crossing is needed...but I would not put the entire responsibility on greatly reduced federal staff.
