My friend John works for a company called Canepa founded by Bruce Canepa. It is a car shop like no other, they do full restorations, car collecting, and very expensive performance tuning. John was recently videoed providing a little tour of their collection and what they do. If you're ever in the Bay Area between April and October they host a "cars and coffee" on the second Saturday and it is a sight to behold. If you give me notice, I can get us on the "insider" tour.

Their shop used to be across the street from Staff of Life organic hippie grocery store in Santa Cruz (ironically best butcher counter in town).. Great eye candy in the window. Gulf badged 917 and that Martini 935 along with other cars..
