My son decided to go duck hunting with my brother in law so I got to hunt alone and get some help tracking from my daughter.

Washington Blackie I was fortunate to bag this year. Hunted him for 5 days until he made a mistake. Shot him under this golden rainbow. One of those hunts you will always remember.

Northern Minnesota deer camp was good to me this year. Got this nine pointer (my biggest whitetail) on Sunday morning with my .270 Win. The 130 Hornady CX destroyed the heart. He ran about 50 yards and died right in the trail. Easiest drag I’ve ever had!

Great to see her hunting. As I recall she was having some health problems. Nothing like bagging a big buck to hasten along a recovery !!!

Yep, she actually just had her scan last Thursday and the MRI showed that the tumor is stable so that’s great news.
