December Hog Hunt

Since I passed on shooting little forkies this year, we will be going to Camp 5 for a hog hunt. (Yes, these are free-ranging, wild hogs - no fences.) Jorge, Moe and I will be going - anyone else want to join us? Maybe Elkfarmer?

The nice thing about Camp 5 is that there are lots of varmints to shoot, too.

It's around Santa Maria, I believe. his will be my first time there, but a repeat visit for Moe and Jorge.

I"m not going for a hog, I just shot a hog-ette near here last saturday. Do they have bird or other hunting there at that time or is it just hogs for this?

358 is a good idea, that might leave a blood trail, I hope.

I think that place is a few miles down the road from where i was a couple years ago. If it is, it is a great place for hogs, lots of them. I lost my permission to hunt on the 350 acres that i had when it was sold. That sucked, i found a kick ass spot to hog hunt and lost it in the same year.
Is this the one that has the big ranch up Indian Valley road out of San Miguel??
