Recently went and put together a budget hunting rifle in 308. Went with the CVA Cascade in 308 from sportsmans. Threw on a vortex diamondback and took it out to the range. Shot both nosler whitetail country 165 and Norma Bondstrike 180 very well. Action seems smooth and a reasonably lightweight setup for hunting. Anyone looking at a new hunting rifle should give the CVA cascade a look. 1000010580.jpg1000010616.jpg

Good-looking rifle and they retail at a good price. The Norma .30 cal 180 gr bondstrikes perform well in a few of my different rifles (non-CVA).

The trouble with that camo stock is that if you set it down, you might never find it again. Just kidding. TR
