I am looking to purchase some maps of various hunting units. I was wondering what places you have purchased maps from and whether or not you like them?
I have BLM maps of all the units I am interested in. They do a good job of showing land ownership, but they do not show forest road numbers or trails very well.
I have also tried MyTOPO, but again the roads and trails don't show up very well.
The maps that I do like are the National Geographic Trails Illustrated maps. Unfortunately, I cannot find a tool for Nat Geo that allows for custom maps that you can order. I would prefer to not print the maps myself so I can have large maps that are waterproof.
The maps I am interested in are topo maps with shaded relief.
Any advice on other map places would be greatly appreciated!
