THere's almost nothing I hate more than naming wild animals. Doesn't matter the species. Why don't they go name the elk, the deer, etc. It is just so dumb.

Gotta start indoctrinating em early in Colorado. If you can successfully project human qualities on wildlife it makes the vilification of hunters and hunting that much easier.

I don't think the kids get a blank slate, so unless there's a unanimous write-in like "Murders Many Deer, Elk, and Moose in Horrible Ways," we're going to get wolves named "Sacred Howl" and "Jeff," or something similar ridiculous.
