Anyone ever shot the Crimson Talon fixed blade broadhead ?

Nope, but had a buddy that used for a year or so. Never had any problems, but he's switched to Rage's and doesn't appear to be going back, FWIW.

I use them but I have yet to find anything worth sticking with them so I can't tell you how good they do on an animal.

Is that the one with the "air foil" technology? I shot a mulie doe with one a few years ago. Didn't do anything impressive. I double lunged her and she still ran 300 yards before piling up. It was all in the wide open so I saw the whole thing and never had to trail her. Guess I fell for the sales pitch on those. I never bought them again.

LID- yes, crimson talon is the one with "air foil" technology, whatever that is supposed to be.

Thanks for everyone's input. Since I will only be hunting deer and maybe a javelina or hog if given the chance, I went out and bought some of the Rage broadheads. I have heard some good things about them so I will give them a try and hopefully post some pics of a nice deer or two.
