That is a fox but I have never seen one that dark. Cool Looking kind of BUT kinda ugly to.

Yep, fox. They do have an occasional color phased one. Saw a solid black one with white tail tip while pheasant hunting near Greeley, CO many years ago.

It sorta has a black tip on its tail like a coyote, but everything else says its one ugly fox.
