Ever thought about the Smokey mountains? Gatlinburg and pigeon forge has a ton to offer from shopping to really nice restaurants. Plus you can drive scenic loops and see wildlife. Horseback riding through the Smokey's looking at black bears always works for brownie points from my wife! Plus a cabin in the mountains can be relaxing as well.
