I've spent the last 5 days chasing a nice buck and have seen a number of bears.

This one really was handsome and looked like a good one.

I'm not much of a bear killer, as the meat I've tried is less than awesome.

This morning after watching my buck still hanging out in an untouchable spot, I went and found the bear in his normal spot. I decided to take a closer look.

I got inside of 80 yards and was impressed with this blonde Sumo Wrestler. Way bigger than I expected. With the weather being crazy hot and being very far in and solo, I let him walk.

Tonight, I'm kicking myself.

I have a thing for blondes, so it would have been pretty hard for me to pass that one up. If, for some reason, I did, that choice would haunt me for the rest of my life. I would likely spend hours just sitting in my living room, mentally flogging myself while staring at the blank space on the wall where the rug would have been. I probably would end up buying a second 6.5 CM. The decision might even have driven me to drink White Claw.

But, that is just me — don’t lose any sleep over it.
