How many and of what size coolers for a deboned bull elk? Thanks

5 moderate sized elk.

Either a single 160quart or two 70-100quart coolers. Remember if you go the single cooler route you are very limited on moving the thing around once loaded unless you're the hulk.

I use Cordova coolers. They are made in Idaho and have great customer service. I use the 88 quart for most hunts and have fit deboned elk in it without issues.

That is with very little ice though on close to home hunts, go bigger on longer hunts!
