Cool gun shops in Montana

My sons first birthday is coming up and I'm looking to buy him a gun as a keepsake when he gets older. My wife and I figured we might make a little trip out of it. We're in NW Montana now and wondering if anyone has any tips on cool gun shops to make a road trip out of. I've been to Shedhorn Sports in Ennis and am looking for tips on something similar, something other than a big box store.

Would love to order a Shiloh Sharps in Big Timber, but a little out of the budget right now.

Thanks

Wish I could help.
Anywhere that sells gas, food and guns in the same store are badass to me.
I think the gas station in white Sulpher still does? The ranch supply store in Townsend had some decent deals from time to time too.
Shedhorn will do well to match or beat prices too if you see something they don’t have! I’ve heard nothing but great things.
Congratulations with the baby and dig the handle brotha 🤙🏽

I sent you a pm about a deal I got an email on today.

BTW - start saving for a Shiloh Sharps. I stopped at their shop about 40 years ago and fell in love. I finally got one this year and it is amazing. Don’t wait as long as I did to get one.
I've come extremely close a couple of times over the years. I think they're actually an amazing deal, considering a Christensen or Daniel Defense can cost about $2500 as well and aren't nearly as custom or cool.

I was planning on getting one for my son to give to him when he's older but then thought myself out of it. Plus there's no way I could keep one sitting in the safe for 10 years without using it. I might just have to buy one for me.

That's a great deal on that CZ. I've been thinking of a lever action in 357 or 44, something like that. I loved my 22s growing up but my first "real" rifle was a lever action 44 mag and that rifle holds a very special place in my heart so was hoping to give him something similar eventually.

If they are still hand fit in the us, thats a heck of a deal. A ruger m77 is half the price now.
