My Dad bought the revolver new I believe in the early 60's. I got it from him probably in the late 70's. I gave it to my son maybe 20+ years ago. I got it back from him a while ago as he didn't really want it and he has a grandson crawling around now. I'm wondering what it could be worth and I'm trying to decide whether to sell it or keep it. It doesn't really have any sentimental value.PXL_20260721_170756163.jpgPXL_20260721_170900055.jpgPXL_20260721_170827355.jpg

Very unscientific, but GunBroker has several listed in the $500-$750 range. Best of getting a real appraisal or someone with a Blue Book.

Pretty cool piece. I'd hang onto it.

Edit: You ought to run it through Colt's database and see if it gives an exact date of manufacture: https://www.colt.com/serial-lookup/

That is in near mint condition, from the photos. $750-900 depending on year of production, final grading, etc.

These are slick little roscoes. Well worth keeping in the collection as it will appreciate in value.

The Colt serial lookup is vague. They use the same numbers for several different styles and years and I typed of pistols. According to Colt it is a 1964-65-66 model year.
