Hey guys,
Just came into a navy arms colt 45 single action serial number is 27581 stamped just ahead of the chamber. Also on the front of the frame is the numbers cat5563.On the side of the barrell is some kind of insignia with the letters PSF these are also stamped on the chamber. On the right side of the frame are the letters BM inside a box.
The patent dates are Sept 19, 1871 July 2 '72,Jan 19, '75 any body have any ideas what the letters and numbers mean?
