Wondering if any archery or muzzleloader hunters had any luck in unit 82 this season. What's the conditions looking like out there?

Windshield report says conditions were 2/3 flat, 1/3 steep, warm-ish, and a little fire on the north side...
I'll be in 82 for 1st Rifle. I've heard a report from an Archery hunter, but he stayed mostly in the Baca Preserve. They had 2-encounters, but not animals. The north end of the unit was crowded near Dorsey creek and they did hear some bugles up there. They stayed away due to the crowd. That's all I know.

Hey thanks for the information. I know the north has a good size fire right now. Could make it very crowded in a lot of places if people can't hunt the north.

I was in there from the 17th-25th. Hunted three different drainages. Never heard them or found them. The rubs/tracks/droppings that I found told me I was a few weeks behind them. Still scratching my head.
